This temple is called Pura Goa Lawah because it is a large natural cave inhabited by thousands of bats. In Balinese, the word Lawah means bat. Continue the trip to Tenganan village, is one of the traditional villages in Bali which is included in the Bali Aga category. Which means a village whose people’s lifestyle is still guided by the rules and customs left by their ancestors, from the era before the Majapahit kingdom. In the Bali Aga village, the architecture of the houses, meeting halls and temples that were built strictly maintain the customary rules that have been passed down from generation to generation. The characteristics of the houses of Bali Aga village residents are made from a mixture of red stone, river stone, soil and have relatively the same size. Apart from its unique architecture and customs, the location of this village is flanked by two fertile hills. So the natural scenery around Tenganan village is also very beautiful and soothing.
Afterword visit Taman Ujung (Taman Sukasada) is a historical relic of the Karangasem kingdom. This park was built as a resting place for the king and the Karangasem Bali Royal family and also as a location for meditation and entertaining royal guests. This park has beautiful architectural buildings and the layout of the buildings and ponds in this ancient park. In the upper western part, there is a pillar without a roof to see the enchanting beauty of the surrounding scenery. If you look to the southeast, you will be treated to a view of the expanse of blue sea. If we look east, we will be treated to a natural view of a green hill called Bibis Hill.
The last visit is Tirta Gangga water park, which was built on an area of 1.2 hectares that extends from east to west in a rice field area. This area displays beautiful and beautiful statues, a pool accompanied by a water tower and fish that swim swiftly. This water tower has steps like a temple roof. The water in the Tirta Gangga pool comes from a water source that the local community considers holy and is used for traditional ceremonies. We can also explore the pond by walking over the pond with a path made of stones neatly arranged like a series of bridges.
